![]() ![]() For now, he's broken Peyton Manning's record for the most in a single season. I'm guessing this won't be the last time Andrew Luck breaks the Colts' franchise record for passing yards in a season, but we'll see. Luck has thrown for over 4,000 yards in two of his first three seasons in the league, but this year he raised that to a whole new level. Even in recent weeks with him struggling and his average per game going down, he was still good enough this season to set the Colts' franchise record for passing yards in a season. ![]() Of course, part of that is due to the way today's NFL is going, but it's also a testament to how good Luck has been for much of the year. ![]() Keep in mind that this is Andrew Luck's third season, and he's already set this franchise record for passing yards. Luck has had a fantastic season, as he's already second in franchise history in passing touchdowns in a single season (40), behind just Manning's 49 in 2004. One play later, Luck threw his second score of the day and his 40th of the season. It was a fantastic play by Reggie, however, and one that set the record for Luck. Wayne made an incredible catch and was off running down the sideline, but he was dragged down at the one yard line, then getting injured. Luck passed that mark in the second quarter of today's game on an 80-yard catch and run by Reggie Wayne to put Luck at 4,739 for the season - the most in a season in Indianapolis Colts history. Manning set the previous mark at 4,700 in 2010, his final season playing with the Colts. It has been a very good year for Colts' quarterback Andrew Luck, and in today's regular season finale against the Titans he notched a very significant franchise record: he broke Peyton Manning's Colts' franchise record for most passing yards in a single-season with 4,739. ![]()
